Council calls for consultation review

SOLIHULL council is demanding the government withdraw proposals to close four Post Offices after it discovered what it believes is a major flaw in the consultation process. The council claims it should have been consulted over the proposed closures back in May 2007 when neighbouring authorities Birmingham, Warwickshire and Coventry were allegedly allowed to do so.
